If you have a car and traveling from Bangkok just hit the expressway and follow the sign to Dao Khanong after you will reach the Highway No.4 to Petchaburi and Prachuap Khiri khan this road also leads to Chumpon this is a southern province located in the south of Thailand. From Chumpon go to Highway No.41, passing Langsuan and Chaiya Districts the way to Surathani city. The distance from Bangkok to Krabi is around 800 km to 900 km. |
The hotel was Majestic Suites. The hotel was great, really great price at just 1,200 baht per night. Not bad considering it had beautiful marble floors and a marble bathroom. Not to mention the views over Bangkok from my floor. |

Patong is the most expensive beach with hotel chains of multinational making and resorts. If you look for a budget accommodation to stay, you should plan your trip early and reserve your accommodation in time because most of them will be already booked when you arrive during the high season and not having made a proper reservation. |
The number of hotels and accommodations have rapidly increased over the past years. On weekends and holidays most cheaper rooms are booked out. In North Pattaya more quiet accommodations are available, away from the crowd and if you want to avoid the lively nightlife that Pattaya is famous for then book a room there. |
When arriving at the new airport in Bangkok the first impression is the combination of modern and tradition mixed in an astonishing and beautiful way. Murals reach from the Immigration down to the pick up of the luggage when passing through the halls on moving pathways. Steel, glass, marble and art make you pleasantly aware: "You are in Thailand". |
